Last Saturday (Nov 8th), I had a great pleasure to present at the 55th Annual NYS TESOL Conference. Along with this year's conference theme 'Voices of Impact,' all enthusiastic educators gathered together to share their ideas and inspire each other.

Thank you so much to the organisers, volunteers and anyone behind the scenes, the other speakers and, of course, our lovely audience for this amazing day of meaningful stories and conversations. The atmosphere was palpable and the energy only grew stronger throughout the day.

Earlier this month, I was in Malta at the 14th ELT Conference, encouraging fellow teachers to lead with a purpose, create a ripple effect of positive change. Last Saturday, more like-minded educators joined me on the global empowerment journey; this time we covered all about international project-based learning, with an impact. Looking at the fantastic engagement and feedback (thank you so much again πŸ’–), the idea resonated with many of you. Delighted to have you on board.☺️

Why international projects? To me, the 'Voices of Impact' should belong to our learners, in the first place. Teachers who take the role of facilitators can support them in making their voice heard, and that voice goes way beyond the four walls when we work together πŸ™Œ

Who can join? Anyone who wishes to make a difference in their environment. From individuals, to groups and communities, to whole schools and refugee camps. Every person matters, every story counts, every perspective is appreciated.

What happens next? We meet in follow-up bespoke workshops and webinars related to a given topic (e.g. on mental health and well-being in education, trauma-informed therapeutic teaching). The participants share their views in a creative way, are awarded certificates and become active members on an international platform that spans over not just different countries, but continents 🌍 🎯 .

P.S. My projects are all-encompassing: culturally and linguistically inclusive, ideal for all age groups and neurotypes, often used for assessment of target skills (in co-operation with partner teachers). This is Teaching Reimagined✨

Interested? πŸ’‘ Register for the upcoming free webinar, with a Guest Speaker, on Biodiversity, Wildlife Protection and Sustainable Development this Saturday, Nov 15th, 2pm (Ireland/UK time): https://lnkd.in/exqcxkZj

Thank you, see you soon!
