Hello,

Hope you are having a great day!

If you are looking for an experienced educator to support you on your learning journey or have a question about e.g. a psychological report or diagnosis), feel free to reach out to me anytime by WhatsApp +353 86 35 96 805 or by email: annam.trainyourbrain@gmail.com

Whether you need a session for yourself or your child (at primary, secondary or university level), I will be delighted to assist you. After the initial consultations, I will recommend the most suitable way of going forward using a personalised strengths-based approach.

In-person, online, individual or group sessions available. Also, CPD courses, workshops and webinars.

As a teacher, tutor and therapist, I understand how important it is to identify the right areas for improvement and use my expertise and hands-on experience of over 20 years to provide a comprehensive assistance.

Turning challenges into opportunities.

A learning difference such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia or dyspraxia should not be an obstacle for anybody to achieve their desired goals and thrive in school and life. The majority of my learners have received a dual or mixed diagnosis, for example dyslexia and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder); dyspraxia and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), dyslexia, autism and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder); dyslexia, dyscalculia and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

A safe space for learning is a priority.

When we arrange a tailored session, suited to your needs and learning objectives, you will get to experience the vast  benefits of a multisensory environment and a range of brain-friendly techniques with a holistic cognitive, emotional and behavioural support.

My motto: Be Yourself. Be Unique. Dream Big.

See you in a session!

Anna

Teaching with Therapeutic Techniques

Anna Machura
   MET Article Writer (UK)

I am passionate about novel, innovative teaching methodologies and implementing various therapeutic strategies into the teaching-learning process. Based on my teaching experience and in-depth research in neuroscience, neurolinguistics and cognitive behavioural science, I have created a unique method: Teaching with Therapeutic Techniques.

You can find a lot of practical tips and ideas on holistic education, metacognition, creating inclusive classroom environments, supporting learners with specific learning differences (such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and those on the autism spectrum or ADHD) in my articles, magazines, journals and various educational resources.

I believe the most important thing for the learner is to feel safe, to belong and to be accepted by others. A classroom should be a place where we turn challenges into opportunities, where every learner can thrive and discover their full potential. In my case, the role of the teacher goes beyond passing on knowledge, it comes with professional therapeutic support and guidance. As an accredited teacher trainer, I create CPD workshops, webinars and courses for educators working in settings from primary, to secondary, to university level.
