Cultural awareness. Meaningful connections. Universal wisdom.

These three are at the top of my list when it comes to the engagement with other people while working internationally 🌎.

From India to Mexico, from Egypt to Switzerland, from Armenia to Panama... and many more countries in between πŸ—Ί️ Sometimes, it is the moments that count most for me, even the due effort made while preparing for a trip or a presentation. Why? My focus is not on how many things you do, but what you become in the process πŸ’‘.

I value #quality and #excellence. Faster does not mean better. Compromising on quality is not an option for me. Working smart is. #Goals and #actionable #solutions speak to me.

Every talk I give, every workshop I run and every session I prepare, is always tailored to the participants. Unique. So is the audience. Topics vary, as I intend to share both my specialist knowledge gained at universities and practical, hands-on experience from multiple settings.

Additionally, with a mindset of a #therapist, I love turning challenges into #opportunities as I go. This means, when you participate in a live session with me, chances are you will be introduced to some possible solutions, available techniques or methods for further consideration. The final decision is always yours.

I do not believe in one lesson plan, one method or the 'one-size-fits-all' approach. (Even if it works, it may be only temporary). Instead, I am interested in equipping the student, the teacher or the client with a set of skills that will allow them to be better prepared for unexpected situations and more challenging events. Hence my method: Teaching with Therapeutic Techniques.

I raise the bar high for myself and those working with me. Some ask me why I do not share more on my social media. I might if it is going to uplift or inspire others. My answer for now is: "Work (hard) #smart in silence, let your success be the noise..." Keep the beat. Go-getters and goal-setters will clap along now πŸ˜‰

See you at the #IATEFL #TDSIG Web Carnival this Sunday (a session on #mentoring) and the #TESOL #Panama Convention next Wednesday (a talk on inclusive teaching practices) πŸ™Œ 😊.

Global Bridge EFL Teacher Conference
Armenia 14th June 2025

It was such a pleasure to give an in-person talk titled 'The Leader's Brain: Leveraging Neuroscience for EFL Transformational Leadership' to the international audience in Yerevan last  Saturday (14th June 2025). Everyone was absolutely amazing - really interested in the topic, ready to share their ideas and willing to learn more together.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, the certificate and a lovely gift. It has been my first visit to Armenia, but definitely not the last one. Sincere gratitude and thanks to the organisers, our wonderful audience, the other speakers and anyone else involved for making this event so special and memorable.

Until next time😊

Can creativity be taught?

I believe it can be sparked, inspired and nurtured.

The classroom should be a place with the right conditions for

both intellectual growth and creative expression.

My students often create their own words of wisdom,

affirmations and positive reminders based on their experiences.

Below, I am sharing a few of my thoughts.

What are yours?

Always feeling grateful and blessed for each great session,
every smile and every beautiful gift of appreciation received
from my learnersπŸ’–

The best feeling ever!

An audio version of a 'Guide to a Happier Life'

                                                    – a useful source of questions & answers

that can support your mental health

                                                             and help you build resilience

Psst! Stop scrolling for a moment…

When was the last time you had to ask someone for help? Did you do it? If you did – well done for taking the courage. I guess, it wasn’t easy.

Unfortunately, most people don’t reach out for help thinking that doing so would be considered as a sign of their weakness or failure. As a result, more and more people are suffering silently from depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, migraines, chronic fatigue, burnout, PTSD, to name a few.

It all creeps in unnoticed, starts from losing the willingness to do the usual things, to enjoy life, to learn, to work, to talk to people, to think about the next day, to live… and one day, you feel washed-out; no positive emotions, only a dark cloud hanging over you. Hopelessness. Survival. Hell on earth.

The aim of this post is to raise awareness of the importance of practising our mental health hygiene and maintaining the sense of well-being every day.

Do not wait until it is too late. Start today, not tomorrow. Declutter your mind regularly, find time to process information, engage in healthy activities, seek connection with God, nature, pets, the community; you know best. Look around and try to recognise those who might be struggling right now.

Some people cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, but they see us, me and you, and every interaction with them is an opportunity to get them out of the darkness, and to help them start living a happier life. A simple conversation, a good word, a kind gesture can be the one that will rekindle their hope.

If you do not feel qualified to offer such help, you are invited to take part in my educational webinars, masterclasses or professional training sessions where I discuss real-life examples and present actionable steps.

I also share practical, proven strategies, evidence-based intervention models, a range of therapeutic techniques rooted in neuroscience, neurolinguistics, cognitive educational science, psychotherapy, mindfulness, and much more.

You can even learn how to reframe your mind, overcome mental or emotional blocks, develop the mindset for change and success, build better relationships, be more grounded and self-confident, to live a happier life.

“I cannot thank you enough. You have saved my life. What you said really made me think.” – I have heard that many times from a client or a student (the benefits of my therapeutic teaching). “Thank God we can help others!” I thought then.

“A Guide to a Happier Life” (an audio version) was created during the pandemic and has been very popular with my clients since.

My workbook ‘”How to calm an anxious and angry mind” is an ideal resource for educators, teachers, students, parents, caregivers and young adults. Of course, there's more!

                                                                     My workbook

'How to calm an anxious and angry mind'
